Who we are

Maggie Search is an independent UK vet-medicine price-comparison tool. For any privacy request, contact us at privacy@maggiesearch.co.uk.

What we collect

Usage analytics (optional): only if you accept analytics, we store anonymous counts of searches and medicine views in your browser (localStorage) to learn which medicines people compare. This contains no name, no email and no IP address.

Lawful basis

Analytics storage — your consent (the cookie banner). You can refuse and still use the site normally.

Cookies & local storage

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We only use your browser's local storage for (a) remembering your cookie choice — strictly necessary — and (b) anonymous usage counts, which run only after you accept.

Sharing

We never sell your data. Pharmacy links open the pharmacy's own website; once there, their privacy policy applies. We may share aggregated, anonymous demand statistics (e.g. "X searches for Apoquel 3.6mg") with partner pharmacies — never your personal details.

Retention

Anonymous analytics counts stay in your own browser and you can clear them anytime via your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, or complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, email privacy@maggiesearch.co.uk.
